Stop Making Excuses

Stop Making Excuses

Sales are contingent on the attitude of the salesman, not the attitude of the prospect

  • William Clement Stone

Stop. Making. Excuses. They keep you frustrated, stuck and broke. Only you are accountable for your success. It’s not your environment.  It’s not luck. It’s not the weather.  Just YOU.

In the words of John Mason – ‘The most unprofitable item ever manufactured is an excuse’

Many people think success comes from good luck or enormous talent, but successful people achieve their accomplishments in a simpler way: through self-discipline. They don’t make excuses – they focus on getting the job done, regardless of how they feel.

Life without self-discipline is like a kite with its thread cut. It moves in the direction the wind blows.

Self-discipline manifests itself in the capacity to generate results, to accomplish important work efficiently, to get it right – the first time, and this will magnetically attract incredible contacts, opportunities and resources.

Emotional Intelligence is being smart with feelings…

More aware. More intentional. More purposeful.

How emotionally intelligent are you?
