Its’s that time again. New Year’s Resolutions. Your 2019 goals. Have you set yours?
Did you know that your emotions either push you towards your goals or pull you in the opposite direction? We all have feelings – the key is to use the insight and energy of those emotions to propel you forward towards your goals.
Think about your most important goal for the year. Ask yourself,
- How do you feel about your goal? What insight can your feelings give you to help you to move in the direction of your goal
- What are some different options of how to move toward this goal? What are some ways you are reacting that are contrary to your goal? What is a choice you could make instead?
- Why is this goal important? What about this goal gives you energy to take the next step?
If your emotions are not aligned to where you are going, it’s highly unlikely that you will get there!
