In every organisation, the climate cultivated by the leader supports or undermines the ability to generate results.  

In the Six Seconds book, Vital Organisation, there are 3 factors for effective execution.  To create & cultivate a highperformance environment, leaders must create the conditions for execution by increasing focus, creating accountability, and increasing the quality of feedback. 

  1. Focus – getting rid of the unnecessary to give more attention to the essential. 
  1. Accountabilityallowing people to have real ownership of their work and results. 
  1. Feedbacktesting what works and hearing input to refine the next time around.

Execution is the missing link between aspirations & results.  

Successful leaders understand that climate is a key driver of execution & pull all the stops to ensure that they cultivate a conducive climate for high performance
